Teaching

I consider my main task as a teacher to inspire, engage and empower. Through humanity’s most sustainable resource: our creativity, there is hope in practice. I have specialised in eco-creativity, or environmentally friendly design. I have a wide background within the arts-field and in-depth knowledge that includes textile-culture and -practice.

I am an associate Professor at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. In addition to teaching, I am the production manager of the Global Science Opera, an international, trans-disciplinary educational initiative. Thanks to my research-work I travel both nationally and internationally to inspire teachers and students. I have held presentations and workshops in sustainable performance production and STEAM-methodology in Japan, Hong Kong, India, Sri Lanka, Greece, Portugal, Sao Tome & Principe, France, Brasil, USA, Colombia, Chile to mention some.
